You can swap between Bitcoin & Euros easily with wave.space. Simply send BTC from your own wallet to a provided address onchain or via Lightning. As soon as BTC is received, it is automatically converted to EUR and transferred to your bank account in seconds. From your cold BTC storage to your bank account in one single flow!
All bank transfers are done via SEPA Instant, enabling you to receive your money in just a couple of seconds.
Yes, of course! It works both ways - simply transfer Euros into a provided IBAN in your name & it will be automatically converted to BTC that is sent to your own Bitcoin wallet instantly via Lightning or onchain.
We charge a simple 1% fee for swapping between BTC & EUR. There is also a small spread of 0.5% imposed by our liquidity providers and already baked into the BTC price. Same conversion fee applies when you spend BTC from your wavecard. All bank transfers and Lightning transactions are free of charge. We also do not charge any additional fees for onchain withdrawals, you will simply need to cover the network cost.
Your unique virtual IBAN is your own stable connection to the crypto space. Since it’s in your own name, you will get no issues when transacting with your other bank accounts – even if they might not like you having crypto!
Simply make sure you have a verified account on wave.space, deposit some Bitcoin and navigate to "Spend" section and click "Get Now". The virtual card costs €2.99 to open. You will be asked to note down your card recovery codes & set your 3DS password. As soon as you set it up, the virtual card gets linked to your Bitcoin account balance, and it's ready to be used!
Our services are available to all natural persons with citizenship or residency in an EEA Contracting State or Switzerland. Except for the wavecard product, which is available only to EEA residents or citizens.
In order to offer our services in Europe, we need to adhere to current banking regulations in order to be able to issue a personal vIBAN in your own name, as well as provide you with a wavecard - a VISA Bitcoin Debit Card. Don’t worry, it only takes a couple of minutes & is free of charge!
