Felix Billert is the co-founder of wave.space and a multi-disciplinary innovator with six years of experience spanning consulting, startups, and scale-ups in the FinTech and Crypto/Bitcoin industries. Since discovering Bitcoin in 2017, Felix has been driven by a singular vision: to build a transformative company in the Bitcoin space. With a deep passion for technical advancements that can scale Bitcoin to billions, he is committed to closing the gap in Bitcoin UX and accelerating its global adoption through wave.space.

A graduate of WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management, Felix began his career at SumUp, a €9 billion European fintech leader, where he spearheaded a growth initiative for the U.S. market. Transitioning into the Bitcoin space, he became the first Business Analyst at Mode, a UK-based Bitcoin-only licensed brokerage. In 2023, Felix joined Coinsbee, one of the world’s largest crypto shopping platforms, as its first key hire. There, he led efforts in product development, partnerships, operations, and growth, achieving more than a twofold increase in company revenue and boosting net operating margins by over 25%.

Through Wavespace, Felix continues to pursue his mission of building tools that empower Bitcoiners worldwide and advancing the usability of Bitcoin for everyday transactions.
