Living on Bitcoin just got a whole lot smoother!
With our latest update, you can now pre-select wavecard as the destination for all EUR->BTC swaps.
When enabled, every time you send EUR to your personal wavespace IBAN, Bitcoin will be automatically bought and deposited into your wavecard - you don't even need to open the app!
How to enable automatic swaps to wavecard?
- Open your Account
- Choose Swap Settings
- Turn on the toggle
Who is this new feature for?
We always suggest to stack Bitcoin to your self-custody, and use wavecard with spendable BTC balance. Some users deposit their own Bitcoin to wavecard, or connect their Lightning wallet via NWC, while others buy into their wavecard, either allocating part of their salary to BTC for monthly spending, or use it as a mixture of saving and spending with occasional withdrawals to self-custody.
This small upgrade is specifically for those that are buying constantly into their wavecard.
