Simply make sure you have a verified account on wave.space, deposit some Bitcoin and click on "wavecard". There is a one-time fee to open your card:
- Virtual wavecard = €2.99 in BTC
- Physical wavecard = €29.99€ in BTC

You will be asked to note down your card recovery codes & set your 3DS password. As soon as you set it up, the new card gets linked to your Bitcoin account balance. Virtual cards are ready to be used instantly, while physical cards need to be activated upon delivery.

All residents (18+) within the EAA (European Economic Area). This includes Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Liechtenstein, Norway and Iceland.

It depends on your chosen delivery method:
- Standard Delivery: 5-9 working days
- Express Delivery: 2-3 working days

Unlike many other crypto cards, which are just glorified fiat cards, wavecard is able to hold Bitcoin until the last second you pay with it, selling it on the spot to cover for your purchase.

Therefore, you can fund your wavecard with Bitcoin in multiple ways:
- Deposit Bitcoin onchain
- Deposit Bitcoin via Lightning (both invoices and LN addresses are supported)
- Buy BTC into the wavecard by sending EUR into your personal vIBAN
- PRO: Connect your Lightning wallet via NWC for self-custodial spending

You can use your wavecard globally, anywhere VISA is accepted online or in-person (with a card or with a mobile wallet like G-Pay). We do not charge any FX fees, so you can pay in any currency confidently worldwide.

Yes, your wavecard can be added to Google Pay, Samsung Pay, Fitbit Pay and Garmin Pay by default, meanwhile Apple Pay integration is currently possible through the Curve app (here's the step-by-step guide). Direct Apple Pay support is coming soon.

We charge a simple 1% conversion fee for spending Bitcoin when paying with the wavecard. There is also a small spread of 0.5% imposed by our liquidity providers and already baked into the BTC price. There are no additional FX fees between fiat currencies, so you can confidently pay in any country.

If you wish to withdraw cash at ATMs, we pass on the fees at cost: 3% + €2.

- Daily spending: €10,000
